June 8: 1-3 p.m. - Hudson Fire Department. Firefighter Lt. Kevin Nelson will give a presentation on fire safety to children. A Smoke House will allow visitors to get a simulation of a smoky interior. There will also be a discussion of the 1892 fire that destroyed most of Hudson’s downtown. Cake will be provided to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the fire department.
