2023 WINTER WONDERLAND

Case-Barlow Farm will offer a December to remember for families as it hosts Winter Wonderland, a month-long celebration of the holidays!    Scroll down to view events and plan your visit.

TOUR OF TREES 

Friday & Saturday December 8th & 9th

Tour of Trees Open Houses

Bundle up and walk through the iconic CBF barn to see the magnificent display of holiday trees. Local clubs and organizations will compete for the best holiday tree design. There will be a fun scavenger hunt, music and performances. Available for purchase will be cookies, hot cocoa, hot cider and popcorn, plus items in our pop-up gift shop. Every child will receive a holiday building craft, courtesy of Home Depot (while supplies last). Enjoy a glass of wine or a Christmas themed adult beverage.  Special theme nights will include Nutcracker children’s ballet performances, Frozen with Anna, Elsa and Olaf, kids singalong night and Hudson Community Chorus night.

Enjoy a 30-40 minute tour of trees anytime

between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.  

Cost is $5 per person or $20 for a family of four or more. 

Help us fill our wagons for the Hudson Food Pantry.  Bring a food or hygiene item for those in need.

  • Saturday Dec 9th - ​Kids Singalong with Ross Kowlaski  (Jingle Bells!!)

  • Saturday Dec 16th - Frozen Night, meet Elsa, Anna & Olaf

GINGERBREAD TEA FOR CHILDREN

Saturday & Sunday December 2nd & 3rd
Noon - 2:30 pm

Ideal for children aged 3 and older accompanied by a parent, grandparent or adult, Gingerbread Teas are delightful holiday experiences. Hosted in our beautifully decorated historic farmhouse, each Tea features a delicious luncheon of kid-sized tea sandwiches, mac and cheese, dessert and hot cocoa. Special visitors include Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, Elf on the Shelf, and Mrs. Claus who is busy getting Santa ready for his big night.  Plus, every child will get to paint and decorate a gingerbread house to take home. It’s the perfect holiday-inspired day to spend with a special child. 

Cost is $25 per child and $60 per adult  

 Holiday Tea
for Adults

Served in our grandly decorated historic farmhouse at Case-Barlow, our Adult Tea will feature an amazing lunch of beautifully decorated tea cakes called Smorgastrato. You will also enjoy savory pumpkin or tomato soup and a delicious desserts.  Each guest will also have an opportunity to make a beautiful holiday candle demonstrated by the owner of the Crooked River Candle shop to take home as a holiday centerpiece. 

 

Cost is $60 per adult

Immerse yourself in holiday ambiance as you indulge in the art of sipping and discovering exquisite wines within the enchanting confines of our time-honored farmhouse adorned with the finest fir and holly. Delight in an assortment of chef-curated hors d'oeuvres and savor the flavors of 8 exceptional wines. All the while, be captivated by the extraordinary tale of a Christmas Eve miracle that unfolded during World War II. This is a truly exceptional evening that will imbue you with the spirit of the season.

SANTA IN THE BARN

Saturday & Sunday December 9th & 10th

Saturday & Sunday December 16th & 17th

10:00 am - 2:00 pm

A chance for children to visit with Santa and tell him their most important Christmas wishes.  The setting, complete with Santa’s sleigh and a barn filled with twinkling trees, is perfect for family photos.  Each child will receive a complimentary cookie, hot cocoa and candy cane.   This event is free, however, registration is required and spaces fill up quickly.
